“Every moment of our life can be the beginning of great things.”
Joseph Pilates
Dear clients, friends, and family,
Thank YOU for entrusting Restore Pilates to be a part of your health and wellness journey! I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to work with so many incredible individuals. My passion for movement and helping others grows daily. One of the greatest joys of my work comes from hearing your stories and being apart of your journey…so I wanted to share a portion of mine:
For the first 5 years of my professional career as a physical therapist, I worked in the DFW area. I completed an Orthopedic Residency Program at UT Southwestern to become a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. I pursued training through Polestar Pilates to become a certified Pilates Practitioner for Rehabilitation. I had the opportunity to work in the DFW area at an outpatient private practice clinic that doubled as a boutique fitness studio offering physical therapy, private and small group Pilates, as well as personal training and HIIT classes for 4 years.
In 2024, I relocated back home to San Antonio and founded Restore Pilates LLC - a private Pilates studio offering one-on-one Pilates training with an emphasis on rehabilitation and wellness. In the meantime, I kept up my clinical skills as a physical therapist by working PRN for Methodist Stone Oak Rehabilitation Hospital and as coverage for Texas Physical Therapy Specialists. These experiences not only enriched my skillset as a PT, but also brought numerous community connections and best of all - friendships.
In 2024, in addition to moving across the state and founding a small business, I ran my fourth and fifth marathons in Santa Rosa, CA, and New York City, NY. I have fostered a personal passion for long distance running for the past 10+ years. This passion continues to grow as I train for my sixth marathon this coming December.
Through networking connections and involvement in the running community, I received the opportunity to work part-time as a physical therapist at a clinic located in the back of iRun off Broadway (the local running store) - Olmos Park Physio. For the past 6 months, I have been working with Dr. Will Gonzaba at Olmos Park Physio as a physical therapist and Restore Pilates as a private Pilates instructor. I am excited to share that Restore Pilates will be relocating to integrate with Olmos Park Physio!
This is an exciting opportunity to integrate my passion for Pilates, community involvement, running, orthopedic physical therapy, and wellness - all in one physical space. I look forward to growing and journeying with you for years to come!
Thank you for your support, commitment to health, and positive presence. Let’s continue to grow together!
Sincerely,
